The 25-story, 260,326-square-foot office building, situated in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, was purchased by the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio in April 2019 for $180 million.
“The sheer amount of interest in 1900 Pearl was staggering,” McDonald said. “It broke the Dallas office sales record by almost $200 per square foot.”
In a year when a variety of Downtown Dallas towers were put on the market, 1900 Pearl stood out as a newly built, highly amenitized property in one of the city’s most desirable office locations. Built in 2018, the Class A building offers 360-degree views and includes a 14th floor amenity center featuring a court for basketball and yoga, a workout facility, wine lockers and luxury lounge space for cocktails and meetings.
1900 Pearl is home to several high-profile tenants, including Steward Health, Baker McKenzie and Maverick Capital.
