Inclusive Cities Barometer Apac

06/09/2024

The Inclusive Cities Barometer evaluates 36 cities in Asia Pacific, including major cities such as Melbourne Australia, Tokyo, Japan, and Singapore. This gives a complete assessment of each city's inclusion by assessing over 110 metrics from economic, social, spatial, and environmental dimensions. Leveraging over 4,000 data points, the report guides cities towards greater social inclusivity.

In the Inclusive Cities Barometer report, we explain and present the fundamental arguments that shape a vibrant city with ample opportunities for its residents. It has several benefits, including:

  • Economic Inclusivity evaluates economic growth, innovation, and employment status.
  • Social Inclusivity assesses social integration, personal freedom, security, safety, and social infrastructure.
  • Spatial Inclusivity focuses on population density and growth, quality of education, housing, and property.
  • Environmental inclusivity values pollution levels, climate, resilience, adaptation to climate change, and urban attractiveness.
