FrieslandCampina Vietnam: Staying With The Office That Felt Home

FrieslandCampina, a Dutch dairy cooperative, operates from Bitexco Financial Tower, an A grade building at Ho Chi Minh's Central Business District. It is an anchor tenant occupying two floors of about 2,000m2 in Bitexco. 

Since 2014, Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam has been assisting FrieslandCampina with its office strategy. As an exclusive representative, the team helped search, negotiate, and close the Bitexco office deal previously. 

Now, FrieslandCampina needed to decide whether it should get a new office or renew its lease. Hence, it approached Cushman & Wakefield for advice.

Cushman & Wakefield evaluated potential properties based on budget, location, and management. From the list, FrieslandCampina picked three new high-quality offices in addition to its current office for consideration. 

After careful analysis, the company decided to renew its office in Bitexco Financial. 

Cushman & Wakefield then represented the company in negotiations with the landlord.

Benefitting from a well-established relationship with the landlord, Cushman & Wakefield’s negotiation was efficient and effective. 

This resulted in competitive rental rates and flexible lease terms for FrieslandCampina. 

Five months later, FrieslandCampina declared an estimated net savings of $200,000 from the lease renewal after performing calculations.
