Lazada Vietnam: Finding The Best Office Fit
01 The Challenge
Lazada wanted to move to a new office in Vietnam with a space of 4,000m2, and approached Cushman & Wakefield for property and strategy consultation.
The office strategy we were tasked to prepare included:
- Positioning for growth despite unfavorable market conditions
- Short- and medium-term projections
- Cost-efficiencies
In addition, Lazada asked us to exclusively represent the company in negotiations with the landlord.
02 The Solution
Cushman & Wakefield came up with a proposal for potential properties.
We then shortlisted offices and performed qualitative and financial analysis. We also evaluated them against various key indicators.
From the shortlist, Lazada chose two offices for final negotiations. To create leverage, our team ran parallel negotiations on both locations.
03 The Results
Lazada closed the deal for its desired building: Saigon Center 2. It enjoyed competitive rental rate and lease terms that were beyond its expectations.
Now, Lazada operates in a grade A office—a high-quality workplace that is key to boosting staff motivation and satisfaction.
