Kuehne + Nagel – Lease Acquisition For A Built To Suit Warehouse Facility

Though an existing client, Kuehne + Nagel awarded Cushman & Wakefield the contract after inviting us to provide a proposal against competition from three other service providers. 

The client needed a large warehouse facility of 10 Hectare (100,000 M2), and our team advised them to opt for a part-finished facility. 

The most challenging aspects were the location and technical requirements due to limited availability of quality warehouse space.

The team Cushman & Wakefield started with a market analysis of warehouse facilities, and conducted lease negotiations. 

All project milestones were achieved on time, and we provided the required technical and logistics support. 

Contractors were brought in for the renovations needed in the warehouse, and final negotiations were carried out to finalise the deal.

Cushman & Wakefield was able to find an ideal warehouse for Kuehne + Nagel. 

Since it was part-finished, further construction could be carried out immediately with the client’s objectives in mind – thereby speeding up future growth plans. 

The accelerated progress allowed the client to re-focus and re-position for a full tender, built-to-suit facility on competitive terms.
