Professional Expertise

Jonathan Hallett is the Managing Partner of Cushman & Wakefield in the Czech Republic and Head of Central & Eastern Europe. He is also part of the EMEA Management Leadership Team.

He manages Cushman & Wakefield’s direct operations across the CEE region, with over 1,150 staff in 4 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland), and oversees Cushman & Wakefield Alliance partners in 8 further countries across the CEE region.

Jonathan has over 30 years of international real estate experience of working in Brussels, Paris, London and across Central & Eastern Europe.
He became a Partner in 2001 and is a member of the RICS and the ICSC.

Jonathan has built up long term relationships with international investors, developers and retailers as described below:

  • GENERALI: investment, development and leasing advice on their portfolio in CE
  • TESCO: acquisition, development, investment and leasing advice on their portfolio in Czech, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia

  • CRESTYL: development and leasing advice on numerous projects including Dornych Brno and Savarin Prague
  • AMUNDI: investment, asset management and leasing advice on their portfolio in the Czech Republic and Poland
  • CPI: investment, development and leasing advice on their flagship retail projects including Olympia Mladá Boleslav, Teplice, IGY Česke Budějovice and Quadrio, Prague
  • Retailers: supporting brands entering CEE markets; Primark, M&S, New Yorker, Foot Locker, Sephora, H&M
  • Development / leasing advice to leading developers: EPG, Ballymore, Multi, Avestus, Mint Investments
  • Capital Market advice in on numerous retail transactions for Tesco, Invesco, ImmoFinanz, Multi, AREA, Meyer Bergman, HB Reavis
