Proprietary Program is an industry first for commercial real estate
New York, NY – April 25, 2022 – Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK), a leading global real estate services firm, and Cornell University’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration today launched a custom certificate program for client-facing facility management teams globally.
“We saw a need for more advanced training for our frontline professionals – going beyond anything in the industry – to ensure our teams embody the skills that will be critical as workplace leaders,” said Bryan Jacobs, President and Head of Global Facilities Management at Cushman & Wakefield. “We’ve entered into an agreement with Cornell’s highly regarded Nolan School of Hotel Administration to develop and manage this certificate program for our teams.”
Cornell’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration is the #1 hospitality school in the world according to CEO World Magazine, and is trusted by hospitality brands such as Four Seasons, Marriott, and Hyatt. The Cushman & Wakefield custom certificate will include five eCornell courses: four required core courses and one elective course that can be selected from a curated list. Completion of the courses will culminate in a Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality Program Certificate from Cornell University. Core courses will include developing service excellence competencies, delivering an excellent customer experience, developing a culture of empowerment and quality and service excellence.
