Cushman & Wakefield has developed a series of concepts around this current theme that can help our customers adapt more quickly and successfully to this new situation.

6 Feet Office

At the beginning of April 2020, 6 Feet Office was launched, a response to the new measures concerning "social distancing" and the new way of working in the office. One-way traffic, stricter hygiene measures and clear markings have given shape to working in the office within the one-and-a-half-meter economy. The Amsterdam office of Cushman & Wakefield has been converted into a 'Living Lab'. The concept has been extensively tested and launched worldwide within Cushman & Wakefield.

6 Feet Retail

After the successful launch of 6 Feet Office, we quickly looked at other sectors in which Cushman & Wakefield is active. At the beginning of May, 6 Feet Retail was launched, an answer to the issues in retail regarding public space and pedestrian routes. The public space of shopping centers has become a lot safer and more comfortable by means of smart walking paths, clear visual ques and waiting areas.
