ADP
An updated, sustainable office.
1 The Opportunity
ADP had three offices in The Netherlands (in Amsterdam, Capelle a/d IJssel and Rotterdam) but wanted to consolidate the last two offices to one location, Capelle a/d IJssel. The office building in Capelle a/d IJssel was outdated and, from a technical perspective, did not meet the modern requirements with respect to sustainability and functionality. ADP combined both the renovation of the building and the implementation of a new workplace strategy in one project. After renovation and implementing the new workplace strategy, both the building as well the organisation are ready for the next decades.
2 The Approach
Cushman & Wakefield was the link between the client in the United States, the local (management) team and was responsible for the daily coordination of the construction team. In order to ensure that the contractor delivered the quality as agreed upon, we also delivered site supervision during the execution phase of the project. The site manager worked in close cooperation with the project manager and was the first point of contact for the contractor and technical installer.
3 The Result
Due to the impact of Covid-19, the client decided to plan the move one month later than originally planned. Despite this change, the project was completed within budget and to the full satisfaction of the client.
