Cushman & Wakefield has announced the reinforcement of the Offices team, with the transition of Cristina Cadima from the Asset Services team, and the hire of Afonso Almeida Fernandes.
After a drop in the last two years, due to the pandemic situation, the activity in the office sector is in strong recovery and the most recent data published by Cushman & Wakefield reveals that the volume of take-up reached 64,290 m2 in the first quarter. 2022, which represents a year-on-year growth of 120%.
Cushman & Wakefield aims to offer an excellent service to its customers and partners, therefore, with the growth of activity in the sector, it felt the need to add new talents to the team to respond to the many requests received both from as well as occupants.
Cristina Cadima, who has been part of Cushman & Wakefield Portugal since 2011, moves from the Asset Services team, where she started her career, to the position of consultant in the Offices department. With more than 10 years of experience in the firm, she contributed to the operational management of buildings owned by investors such as Finsolutia, Patrizia, Zurich, Deka, among others.
Afonso Almeida Fernandes, with over 15 years of experience in corporate real estate, joins the Offices team as a senior consultant. The most recent member of the team has been working in the sector since 2005, where he contributed to multiple commercial real estate projects, leading relevant leases, such as the headquarters of Critical Software, Superior Council of the Judiciary, IdeaHub, Manpower Group, Intelcia, TPF, among others.
