Executive Chairman

Brett White has served as Executive Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield since 2015. In this role, Brett sits on the firm’s Board of Directors and focuses on strategy and mergers & acquisitions. 

From 2015 to 2021, Brett served as both CEO and Executive Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to joining the firm, Brett had a 28-year career with CBRE, serving as Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2012 and President from 2001 to 2005. He was also a member of CBRE’s Board of Directors from 1998 to 2013.

Brett previously served as a trustee of the University of San Francisco. He also previously served on the boards of the following organizations: Edison International & Southern California Edison, Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation (ACRE), Realogy Holdings Corporation, Mossimo, Inc., Allied Universal and Valley Crest Commercial Services. Brett holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
