Bill Knightly, Chief Executive of Global Occupier Services (GOS), joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2015 and brings nearly 20 years of global experience across multiple industries to the firm. Bill leads our service line focused on the world’s largest occupiers. These services include portfolio management, transaction management and project and facility management for many of the world’s leading corporations.
During his tenure at the firm, Bill has held a number of leadership positions, including COO of GOS, EVP of Investor Relations and Treasurer, and Global Head of FP&A. He was instrumental in creating value during the firm’s merger, helping build the global finance function and executing several debt capital markets transactions.
Previously, Bill spent 13 years at General Electric, where he led Global FP&A and Global Commercial Finance for GE Transportation. He spent six years with the GE Audit Staff gaining global experience in multiple industries throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia. He’s also a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program. Immediately prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Bill worked for TPG Capital as an Operations Executive.
Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hartwick College. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, is a National Trustee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and is a fellow with Leadership Greater Chicago.
