WIN Brazil Chapter, by Cushman & Wakefield, receives its 4th Seal of Human Rights and Diversity in the women category

Cynthia Franco • 11/22/2022

In November, the Brazil chapter of WIN - Women’s Integrated Network, by Cushman & Wakefield, received yet another Seal of Human Rights and Diversity in the Woman category.

The Seal of Human Rights and Diversity aims to recognize diversity, inclusion and promotion of human rights initiatives implemented by public and private organizations in the city of São Paulo.

It is the fourth consecutive time that WIN receives the Seal of Human Rights and Diversity, which is in its fifth edition: ''I feel fulfilled in being part of this recognition and for contributing to this beautiful work that WIN is building in the lives of women from Cushman & Wakefield'', celebrates Luzia Brito, co-leader of the WIN Brazil chapter.

Recognition in the Woman category once again reinforces the company's commitment to the Women's Integrated Network. According to the latest survey, carried out in March 2022, 46% of the workforce at Cushman & Wakefield Brasil is made up of women. In leadership positions, they occupy 40% of the positions.

Cynthia Franco, WIN Brazil chapter leader, tells how gratifying it is to see WIN receive this award again: “This recognition for WIN Brazil Chapter is a huge achievement! The leaders of the group that came before me and Luzia also had their activities recognized by the Seal and being able to continue this legacy is very important. This shows us that we are on the right path and encourages us to do more and more for gender equity at Cushman & Wakefield’’, he says.

Every year an event celebrates the receipt of the Seal, which should take place next month.

Among the actions promoted by the group are webinars with professionals aimed at the personal and professional development of women in the company, such as the Journey of Self-knowledge, a program developed with the support of two consultants specializing in human development: SunUp + Escola Integração, which recently promoted four meetings with the themes: Communication, Emotional Intelligence, The Power of Vulnerability and the Impact of Purpose and Happiness on Achieving Goals.

Simone de Morais, employee of Cushman & Wakefield and participant of the Journey of Self-Knowledge, says that it was great to participate in something aimed at the female audience, as in addition to favoring direct contact between people within the company, it also united the female audience that, if you feel free to share your day-to-day life and exchange experiences: ''more than one woman on my team got in touch with me and reported the importance of initiatives like this one. In addition to being able to speak openly about points considered taboo, they felt integrated into the company and happy to have something specific for them,'' he reports.
