Qais-Janbaksh is an Associate with Cushman & Wakefield's Equity, Debt and Structured Finance team, based in Montreal.

Qais Janbaksh, Associate, supports the Cushman & Wakefield’s National Capital Markets Group and works closely with the team and clients from a variety of sectors to provide best-in-class investment sale advisory, debt, and equity financing solutions.

With over 2 years of commercial real estate experience, Qais recently joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2024 from Canada ICI’s team where he worked in real estate debt, exposed to a wide array of lending products and origination advisory. Qais also gained experience in investments with a focus on senior housing underwriting, as well as equity investment in real estate.

For 2 consecutive years, Qais also served as President of the McGill Real Estate Club where he oversaw all campus portfolio activities and the creation of a student led advisory group with a focus on financial modeling, investments, and asset management.

Qais also competed at nation-wide real estate finance competitions, ranking within the top students, as well as receiving awards for his continuing efforts.
