Richard Knibbs is a Senior Associate and currently a Division Lead of the Investment Division for Cushman & Wakefield Edmonton. With a proven track record of leadership, team building, and delivering accretive returns, Richard has consistently helped local, regional, and national companies achieve their goals. His mission is to exceed client expectations by offering creative solutions and conducting comprehensive due diligence.

Richard brings over 25 years of experience in representing commercial real estate owners. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he held Vice President roles at Remington Development Corp. and TAG Developments, both privately held, full-cycle merchant developers. Earlier in his career, he held progressively senior roles with national institutional organizations, including GWL Realty Advisors and Manulife Investment Management.

Throughout his career, Richard has played key roles in the acquisition and disposition of over 9 million square feet of assets across Alberta, totaling more than $2 billion in cumulative value. His accomplishments also include overseeing $40 million in new developments, $300 million in forward-purchase capitalizations, and completing over 4 million square feet of leasing transactions across industrial, office, and retail sectors in more than 250 deals.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Finance concentration from the University of Calgary. His extensive expertise and dedication make him an asset to his clients and colleagues alike.
