Sean McCrorie

Executive Vice President and Practice Leader, Seniors Housing & Healthcare • Canada

Sean is an Executive Vice President and the Canadian Seniors Housing & Healthcare Practice Group Leader for Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory group, based out of Toronto. The Seniors Housing & Healthcare group provides valuation and advisory services to owners and investors of seniors housing properties, including preparing real estate appraisals, valuations of business interests, conducting acquisition due diligence, investment analysis, and development feasibility market research.

Over the past decade, Sean has provided valuation opinions on some of the largest transactions occurring in the Canadian seniors housing sector on behalf of the most significant market participants, including public and private companies and pension fund-backed entities.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2020, Sean was with CBRE, where he co-founded the firm’s Canadian Seniors Housing & Healthcare advisory practice. Sean began his career within the managed infrastructure funds division of a global investment bank. In addition to having investments in traditional power and transportation infrastructure assets, the funds also owned a portfolio of long-term care homes in Canada. Between 2007 and 2010, Sean served in a variety of increasingly senior corporate development and financial management roles at Leisureworld Senior Care (now Sienna Senior Living). Sienna Senior Living is one of Canada’s largest owners and operators of seniors housing and care properties.
