The last major storage scheme on the D1 near Prague is leased for the use of XXXLutz
15/07/2020
The XXXLutz brand is currently at the core of activities of XLMX obchodní s.r.o. and XLCZ Nábytek s.r.o., the companies that own the popular XXXLutz, Möbelix and Kika furniture stores. The third player mentioned is currently rebranding, selling off all stock and will soon reopen under the brand XXXLutz.
“The new regional warehouse is a step that will provide a further boost to XXXLutz, the brand under which we are currently integrating the existing Kika stores. We aim to offer our customers maximum convenience and to be as close to them as possible. The warehouse in Nupaky will serve as a regional hub for XXXLutz, a service centre for XXXLutz shipping and assembly services and also as a furniture pick-up warehouse for the XXXLutz e-shop. For customers, this will mean comfortable shopping and quicker availability of furniture,” say Walter Müller and Jiří Šulc, managing directors of XLMX obchodní s.r.o. and XLCZ Nábytek s.r.o.
The location of the new regional warehouse as close as possible to XXXLutz’s stores in Prague was the key criterion when choosing the site. The newly developed storage hall in Nupaky was the perfect choice.
“The location of the regional warehouse close to the D1 motorway is obviously an advantage: both in logistic and marketing terms, since the logo will be unmissable for passing cars,” explains Vít Zdráhal, Associate at Cushman & Wakefield's Industrial Agency team that facilitated the transaction.
The new hall in Nupaky is the perfect match for XLMX obchodní s.r.o. and XLCZ Nábytek s.r.o.’s needs in terms of size as well. Its 16,000 sq m of warehouse space makes it the last storage and distribution unit of this size on the D1 this close to Prague.
“ctPark Prague East is our flagship scheme in the east of Prague, based on the premium location close to Prague and the highest standards of construction. We are really happy to have found such a major company and significant brand, which we perceive as a strong partner, to occupy our premises,” says Jakub Kodr, Senior Business Development Manager at CTP, the owner and manager of ctPark Prague East.
