Barbara Koreniouguine takes up her duties as of Monday, October 12, 2020.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Barbara held the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Allianz Real Estate for France and Benelux, in charge of acquisitions, disposals, asset management and real estate management across a portfolio of approximately 7.6 billion euros. More recently, she served as Managing Director of Léon Grosse Immobilier, a developer of offices, hotels and residential.
Previously, she spent nearly seven years at BNP Paribas Real Estate, as Deputy Managing Director of BNP Paribas Immobilier Promotion Immobilier d'Entreprise, then Executive Chairman of commercial and residential property development companies in France and Europe and Deputy CEO of the group, and member of the management board. Before that, she worked for 10 years within the Icade group, occupying several management positions.
Barbara is a member of the Cercle des Femmes de l'Immobilier, which she chaired from 2012 to 2015. She is also a member of the Club de l'Immobilier and a director of the IEIF. She received the 2012 Pierre d'Or in the promoter category.
In her new role, she will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of all Cushman & Wakefield business lines in France, which were strengthened at the start of the year, by the acquisition of Réponse, a leading design and build firm in France. This strategic acquisition combines design and construction services integrated with existing business lines: Lease Transaction & Advisory, Asset Services, Capital Markets, Hospitality, Occupier Services and Valuation & Advisory.
Barbara Koreniouguine succeeds Antoine Derville, who had managed Cushman & Wakefield France since 2013.
