Residential property market in 2023:
The year 2023 was very much focused on value added strategies. Transactions in existing residential
property maintained a certain dynamism.
There were also no significant existing residential portfolio transactions in 2023.
And in 2024?
We are seeing the return of some core investment pockets in a market that is still value-added oriented. The VEFA residential market remains complicated, but some institutional investors are still looking for them to feed their SRI funds.
The start of the year has confirmed the momentum in managed student and coliving housing, with a very large number of projects on the market. Supply and demand remain high.
