In order to respond even more effectively to customer needs, Business Development at C&W Germany is now focussing on marketing strategies even more closely tailored to the needs of its target client groups based on up-to-the-minute market intelligence and comprehensive datasets. This initiative is being driven forward by Verena Bauer as Head of Marketing & Communications C&W Germany (in post since January 2020) and Helge Zahrnt MRICS in his new role of Head of Research & Insight C&W Germany. Both now report to Andrew Phipps, Head of Business Development C&W EMEA; Head of Research Germany Ursula-Beate Neißer reports directly to Helge Zahrnt.
Helge Zahrnt (42) joins C&W from JLL Germany, where he was Director of Research. With degrees in both Economics and Geography, Zahrnt headed research into the property markets of major cities such as Hamburg and Munich; he was also responsible for digitising research operations and introduced a new market intelligence system, as well as publishing a range of market analyses – most recently on the flex-space segment.
“By merging our marketing and research operations, we will be able to bring our in-house expertise even closer together in order to increase the value we deliver to customers,” explains Yvo Postleb, Head of Germany at C&W: “In Helge Zahrnt, we have been able to add another experienced industry expert to our new insights team. As he reworks our research strategy in his new role, Helge will offer valuable digital input.”
“I am looking forward to bringing digital ways of working to research operations at Cushman & Wakefield,” concurs Helge Zahrnt MRICS, Head of Research & Insight at C&W Germany, adding that “this will include using business intelligence systems to find answers to the specific questions which our customers ask.”
