Nicolas Heisig has been appointed Head of Office Agency National at international real estate consultancy firm Cushman & Wakefield (C&W). The 29-year-old had already held the position on an interim basis since March this year and now officially succeeds Jan Ihnen, who has left the company. In future, he will report to Christian Lanfer, Head of Office Agency Germany.
The five-member team under Nicolas Heisig's leadership advises users and owners throughout Germany outside the top-5 markets. In doing so, they work closely with the National Investment Team and with Global Occupier Services. A particular focus is on expanding C&W's Cologne team. From 1st August 2021, under Nicolas’s leadership, Mina Dadgostar will advise the company's clients in Cologne, Bonn, Aachen and the surrounding area, from the new location at Friesenplatz 4.
Nicolas Heisig joined C&W as a consultant in 2016, having previously worked in office leasing for JLL. He holds a degree in business management, specialising in real estate management, from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).
Christian Lanfer, Head of Office Agency Germany at C&W: "We are pleased to be able to fill the position from our own ranks with Nicolas Heisig. He has proven that he is a very competent and reliable team member, with a good sense of perspective and leadership qualities. I am sure that he will continue to provide first-class advice to our clients outside the top cities. I wish him every success in his new tasks."
