Lutz Schilbach takes over as head of Design + Build DACH

Verena Bauer • 20/08/2021

Lutz Schilbach is to head the Design + Build DACH division of international real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) with immediate effect. The 51-year-old reports to Frank D. Masuhr, Head of Project & Development Services DACH.

The C&W Design + Build team creates turnkey spaces for clients and provides all planning and construction services - from specialist planning, interior design and construction to furnishing. It also takes over tasks such as budget calculation as well as the planning, construction management and acceptance of construction services.

Lutz Schilbach has 25 years’ professional experience. Prior to joining C&W, the qualified architect was a member of the management team at Taurecon Real Estate Consulting, Berlin. As head of Project Development, his responsibilities included project management, letting and the digitalisation of business processes. His career also includes positions with JLL Germany and TAG Immobilien. He will work for C&W out of Berlin. Lutz Schilbach succeeds Patrick Möller, who successfully built up the division.

Frank D. Masuhr, Head of Project & Development Services DACH, comments: "In Lutz Schilbach, we are gaining a proven expert who will further propel the growth of the Project & Development Services division in the DACH region. This is because ever more clients seek a partner who can take over the entire project execution as a one-stop shop. Lutz Schilbach's many years of experience will be a great support to us in the implementation of future projects."

“Joining C&W during such a period of upheaval is a special opportunity. Especially after the experiences of recent months, new ideas and concepts, for example in the planning of office space, are demanded. To actively develop and implement these with an innovative, interdisciplinary team is excellent motivation and I am looking forward to my new tasks," adds Lutz Schilbach.
