Cushman & Wakefield assigns positions in Project & Development Services Team

Verena Bauer • 20/05/2022

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) has made several new appointments in the Project & Development Services team. Silvia Hanel-Verona is responsible for the Munich office as Team Lead Project & Development Services and Wolfgang Neupert is the new Head of Technical Due Diligence Germany. Ariane Husemann takes over as Head of ESG-related Services.

Before joining C&W, Silvia Hanel-Verona was responsible for projects in the areas of logistics, residential construction and office conversion at Lysander Project Management and managed the Munich office. The proven specialist for corporate architecture and office planning replaces Florian Großhauser at C&W, who is leaving the company at the end of the month. In her twenty-year career, Silvia Hanel-Verona has worked as an architect as well as a project manager and construction manager throughout Germany and internationally. Among others, she carried out projects for Amazon while at Jones Lang LaSalle and office refurbishments for users such as BMW, Cisco and Apple while with the RBSGroup (part of the Drees & Sommer Group).

Wolfgang Neupert is the new national manager of the technical due diligence team within Project & Development Services. He will broaden the team and expand technical due diligence as a service across all asset classes, especially in the residential sector. The graduate engineer in architecture has around 20 years of management experience in the field of technical due diligence. Most recently, he was responsible for the "Technical Due Diligence Residential" department at CBRE in Berlin.

Ariane Husemann has also taken on the newly-created position of Head of ESG DACH. This gives her overall responsibility for ESG and sustainability issues in the DACH region at Project & Development Services and an additional coordinating function at EMEA level. In this way, C&W is addressing the steadily increasing demand for ESG-related services in all areas and the increased focus on this area within the company.
