The Düsseldorf office letting team of international real estate consultancy firm Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) has already let three floors of the "LEVELZ" property before construction commences. A company from the real estate sector will move into around 2,300 square metres of office and terrace space in "LEVELZ". The property is the former "New Fashion Plaza" at Karl-Arnold-Platz 2, which is being core refurbished and repositioned by a joint venture of Kriton Immobilien GmbH and Black Horse Investments GmbH.
Demolition work is currently taking place. The building is being stripped back to its reinforced concrete skeleton. Subsequently, by the end of 2023, a high-quality property with eight floors above ground and a total of 6,700 sq m of office and showroom space will be developed here. In addition, there will be two basement levels with parking for cars and bicycles, including e-charging stations for electrically powered vehicles.
The resource-saving redevelopment of the existing structure focuses on sustainability and is aiming for "Leed Gold" certification. By preserving the load-bearing structure, unnecessary CO2 emissions are avoided and the LEVELZ's carbon footprint is minimised. Green facade elements will provide additional visual highlights.
