The Düsseldorf office letting team of international real estate consultancy firm Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) has brokered the letting of around 1,110 sq m of office space in "F101" in Düsseldorf. LEG NRW GmbH, the owner of the property, has entrusted C&W with the exclusive letting of the property. The company also intends to achieve DGNB Gold certification of the building.
The new occupier of the space at Flughafenstrasse 101 in Airport City Düsseldorf is GFT Gemeinschaft Fernmelde-Technik eG (GFT), a co-operative procurement association of medium-sized companies in the information technology and telecommunications, security, media and passive network technology sectors with around 200 members. With the move to the "F101", GFT will give up its previous space in Hilden.
The six-storey “F101” was completed in 2022 and comprises a total of around 7,500 sq m of lettable area. Of this, 1,000 sq m is still available on the ground floor after this letting. The property, which offers a roof terrace, extensive green spaces and a view of the runway of Düsseldorf Airport, includes 181 parking spaces.
The property benefits from multimodal transport links. Around 200 destinations can be reached from Düsseldorf Airport. Direct access to the A52, A44 and A3 motorways provides access to the wider network, and the S-Bahn and regional express rail services provide swift access to Düsseldorf’s main station. From 2024, there will also be a subway link via the U81 line.
Airport City Düsseldorf is a popular office and commercial location in the north-east of the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital. LEG SE Siemens, Vorwerk, VDI, Regus, WTS, GEA, Prologis and Mercer, among others have chosen to locate here.
