Cologne’s Schanzenhaus in the Carlswerk new urban neighbourhood fully let

06/12/2023

The Cologne team has, as part of Office Agency National, let the last available space in the Schanzenhaus building in the cathedral city’s Carlswerk area, a new urban neighbourhood on an extensive former industrial site. The project manager of the Carlswerk site is BEOS AG.

The new users of the office and training space of around 800 sq m are the University of Applied Management, the German University of Health and Sport and the International Football Institute. The premises were extended and modernised for the new tenants before they moved in.
This means that the 1,200 sq m, three-storey building at Schanzenstrasse 2-4, is now fully let. It was constructed in 1886 and is located in an urban neighbourhood that is particularly popular with young people due to its numerous restaurants, sports and other leisure facilities and has developed into one of the hippest business locations in Cologne.
