Cushman & Wakefield supports forward funding of four children’s day care centres in Hamburg for BGProjekt Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) has successfully supported BGProjekt Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH as transaction advisor in the forward funding of four day-care centres in Hamburg. The buyer is the Terra Immobilienfonds Kita-Welten I fund set up by Terra Kapitalverwaltung AG. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. 

The four properties are scheduled for completion in 2024/2025. Once the construction work has been completed, they will provide a total of 615 daycare places. The renowned operator of the facilities is KMK kinderzimmer GmbH & Co. KG, which has signed a long-term lease. 

The buildings will be constructed in timber and in accordance with the highest sustainability standards. They will fulfil the KfW 40 efficiency standard.

In addition to C&W, law firm Taylor Wessing acted for BGProjekt Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH in the transaction. The buyer received legal support from Pellengahr Todtenhöfer Klein und Partner Rechtsanwälte und Steuerberater mbB.
