Michael Fleck appointed as new Head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Frankfurt branch

Verena Bauer • 30/04/2024

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), one of the world’s largest real estate consultancy firms, has appointed Michael Fleck as Frankfurt Branch Manager. He replaces Martin Belik, who held this position on an interim basis and will in future concentrate on his role as Head of Valuation & Advisory Germany. In addition to his new role as Branch Manager, Michael Fleck will continue to lead C&W’s Frankfurt Capital Markets team.

“In my expanded role, I see myself as the link between our various expert teams and at the same time as the first point of contact for our clients. Especially with the current state of the market, it is important to offer customised solutions and to actively advise our clients,” explains Michael Fleck, Head of Frankfurt Branch & Head of Capital Markets Frankfurt at C&W. Continuing “I am currently observing an increasing convergence in the price expectations of potential sellers and buyers on the Frankfurt market and that the traffic light is gradually switching from standstill to market recovery. In the office sector in particular, high-quality value-add product in good locations is once again attracting significantly more attention from capital.”
The Frankfurt-based commercial and real estate lawyer has been with C&W since 2014 and has more than 20 years’ professional experience in the real estate sector.

Tina Reuter, Head of Germany at C&W: “In his expanded role, Michael, who is already an acknowledged expert in the Frankfurt market, will be able to support our clients even better as a central point of contact. My thanks go to Martin Belik, who has done an outstanding job of developing the location in recent years.”

The appointment of the new branch manager coincides with the relocation of C&W’s Frankfurt office. The company is now based at Bleidenstrasse 6, where the teams have access to state-of-the-art workstations with the latest technology and interactive communication, meeting and project areas.
