Cushman & Wakefield, one of the largest real estate consulting firms worldwide, has appointed Prof. Dr. Gunnar Gombert as the new Strategic Advisor Capital Markets Munich, effective 1 February 2025. Gombert will oversee the development of the Capital Markets team at Cushman & Wakefield Munich. His professorship in Real Estate Economics at IU International University Munich and his own strategy consulting firm will remain unaffected.
Prof. Dr. Gunnar Gombert has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, mostly in senior posi-tions. From 2018 to 2023, he worked at JLL, including roles as Strategy & Operations Board Member Germany, Head of Sales & Business Development Germany, and Branch Manager Munich. Other positions included Wealthcap, where Gombert served as Head of Investment & Asset Management as First Vice President, as well as PwC and KPMG, where he was active in Real Estate Advisory.

Additionally, Lena Wichelmann will transfer internally to Capital Markets Munich. Lena Wichelmann has been with Cushman & Wakefield for nearly four years. She initially worked in Hamburg at Global Occupier Services (GOS) in transaction management. Since mid-2023, she has held the same role at GOS in Munich.
