Luxury Brand Leasing
01 The Challenge
Shibuya Scramble Square, a 47-floor facility directly linked to Shibuya Station which opened in the fall of 2019, is a large mixed-use facility which will become a new landmark representing Shibuya. Cushman & Wakefield has been requested by Shibuya Scramble Square, in which Tokyu, JR East, and Tokyo Metro all invest, to attract luxury brands to the main commercial floor - the third floor. Cushman & Wakefield has agreed to offer its interviewing and leasing services for about one year.
02 The Solution
Cushman & Wakefield built relationships by taking full advantage of its global network and knowledge of luxury brands and introducing brands whose owners did not have a point of contact. The focus was placed on attracting tenants who would realize the concept on which the facility is based.
03 The Result
We attracted new concept stores of multiple luxury brands geared towards millennials to the third and fourth floors, which are the main commercial reference floors, achieving a tenant mix that embodies the concept of Shibuya Scramble Square, which is to deliver the hottest trends of the age to people who like to have fun in Shibuya.
Testimonial
"This project was a hot topic since before the launch. It has been an honour to contribute to such an iconic project, right next to Shibuya Station undergoing a transformation."
