How to keep engagement up with new employees

Our latest Experience per Square FootTM (XSF) employee engagement findings come as a pleasant surprise: Employees with less than a year's tenure, who often have yet to enter an office or meet colleagues in person, are still doing very well.
In fact, the group that still enjoys the "honeymoon" leads the way with some of the highest XSF engagement scores of any permanent employment. They report being able to connect with their peers, feel productive while working together, and continue to learn.

But managers can also use XSF insights to reinforce two areas where the lack of face-to-face interaction can cause a delay. Lacking face-to-face interactions in their new roles, new hires report more difficulties than other groups when it comes to growing their network and bonding with colleagues.
