Lucy Matchett senior sustainability strategist at Real Estate Strategy & Innovation.

Lucy Matchett has been appointed senior sustainability strategist in the Real Estate Strategy and Innovation team of the Dutch organization of real estate advisor Cushman & Wakefield.

Matchett specializes in strategic development, project management and stakeholder engagement. She is part of the team headed by Elsbeth Quispel, international partner and head of the Real Estate Strategy & Innovation team, which now consists of 16 professionals.

New role

As a senior sustainability strategist, Matchett will play a leading role in advisory assignments for real estate investors and users in the field of sustainability, ESG (environment, social and governance) and responsible investment. Within the team, she is also responsible for the further development and expansion of knowledge and expertise in the field of data-driven strategic sustainability advice.

In recent years, Matchett has worked as a senior consultant for institutional real estate investors, advising them on a strategic level in the field of ESG and responsible investment. Previously she worked as a project manager sustainability at an international real estate organization. Here she was involved, among other things, in the development of a global sustainability strategy and the promotion of initiatives and projects aimed at sustainable development.

Matchett is a certified sustainability consultant, co-founder of impact platform Net Impact Amsterdam and member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Within this she has served on the British and European sustainability committees.
