BLOQ Offices is a multi-tenant office concept that optimally facilitates the need for hybrid working and flexibility in a modern way. Cushman & Wakefield rents more than 300 m2 in BLOQ Offices, a comparable surface area to that of the former office on the Vestdijk.
Sustainable and circular
The choice for BLOQ Offices in Eindhoven is based on the express need to be sustainably housed in an inspiring location. This starts with the accessibility of the location right next to the station, the amenities of the city center within easy reach and the flexibility of the concept aimed at efficiency, inspiration and a healthy and green workplace. The office confirms Cushman & Wakefield's ambition to lead the way in sustainability. The office is completely circular with, for example, a floor that comes from an old Philips factory hall in Strijp-T, used walking grilles for decoration, reuse of office furniture, a large conference table from a former machine base and reused oak beams and industrial equipment prepared for modern LED lighting. He says about the new location: “We work with a team of approximately 30 people from this new, sustainable office. We explicitly chose this location because we want to be housed sustainably and flexibly and we can easily scale up and down here based on our office needs. In addition, a lot is going to happen here, around the station, in the coming years. The municipality of Eindhoven wants to transform this location over the next 20 years into a green residential area where people can live, work, shop and stay. We will certainly play a role in that and it is an advantage to be housed in the area ourselves.”

Regional execution force
Cushman & Wakefield has explicitly opted for regional offices in the new integral organizational structure. CEO Annelou de Groot says: “We have completely organized our services around our customers. I believe that by bringing together all the expertise in the organization and organizing ourselves around our customers, we can better respond to current market trends and the changing needs of our clients. This does not alter the fact that there are specific needs in local markets for which local and regional market knowledge is of great importance. Regional offices therefore have an explicit place in our new sector-organized matrix structure.”In addition to the appointment of Toine van Summeren in the South of the Netherlands, Diederik Oord has been appointed Head of the Northeast region and Evelien Ravesteijn as Head of the Southwest region. It is expected that the appointments for the Northwest and Central regions will be announced soon.
