We Have a New European Partner in Sustainability and ESG!

31/10/2024

Ana-Luisa

Cushman & Wakefield is excited to announce the promotion of Ana Luísa Cabrita to the position of Partner. At the end of last year, she also took on the role of Asset Services Sustainability & ESG Lead EMEA.

Ana Luísa Cabrita joined us at the end of 2022 as an Associate - Head of Sustainability & ESG to develop the sustainability and ESG area locally. She was responsible for designing, defining, and implementing sustainability and ESG strategies for a wide range of clients and coordinating consulting projects in these areas across our company's various business units. Later, she expanded her role to include European responsibilities, overseeing strategy definition and team coordination in the various geographies where we provide Asset Management services.

Ana Luísa holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, and a Master's degree in Social Business from IES. Among other executive trainings, she has an Executive MBA from Universidade Pontifícia Comillas and is actively involved in various national and international organizations.

Regarding her promotion, Ana Luísa comments, “It is an immense pride to be promoted to Partner at Cushman & Wakefield. This promotion reflects a commitment born from a shared vision of Sustainability and ESG in the real estate sector. It is, without a doubt, recognition of the work done so far, but it is also a clear sign of the importance of these issues and the responsibility that C&W has assumed in promoting their integration into our activities. Naturally, the results of almost two years of work were only possible thanks to the excellent team that has been growing to meet our clients' needs. The continuous and sustained growth of the area represents its relevance, considering that the urgency of Climate Change has brought urgency to the need to transition to a low-carbon economy, to which the real estate sector has been called to contribute. I commit to continuing to work, from C&W, to help transform this vision into reality.”

According to Eric van Leuven, General Director of Cushman & Wakefield Portugal, “Ana Luísa's promotion is, first and foremost, a recognition of her talent and work capacity, widely recognized by local and international clients and colleagues. Her involvement in new and existing building projects always adds significant value. It also testifies to the importance C&W places on sustainability, which is at the top of the concerns of real estate investors and developers, and, of course, society and communities in general.”
