Cushman & Wakefield announces that it was responsible for advising on the purchase of the headquarters building of the Lusíadas Saúde Group, located in Carnaxide. They represented a Portuguese Real Estate Investment Fund, while the seller (a Portuguese family office) was represented by RPE consultancy.
The building in Carnaxide was previously the headquarters of Bayer in Portugal. It was acquired vacant at the beginning of 2023 and fully adapted for the new headquarters of Lusíadas Saúde. It covers approximately 5,700 sq.m and consists of 5 floors, including a canteen and terrace/rooftop. The property includes an outdoor area with 110 parking spaces, some of which are equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.
“The office market in Portugal continues to prove resilient and attractive for investments in quality assets, with long-term contracts and top-tier tenants. This acquisition reinforces investors' confidence in this sector. It was a privilege to have advised the buyer on expanding their portfolio in Portugal,” commented Cristina Machado, Head of Office Investment at Cushman & Wakefield.
Both parties decided not to disclose the transaction values.
