Cushman & Wakefield announces the placement of the brand A Padaria Portuguesa in Montijo Retail Park, the first store of the chain to open in a retail park format, which opens tomorrow, January 24th.
Owned by the CA Património Crescente - Open Real Estate Investment Fund, managed by Square Asset Management, this commercial space is managed and marketed by C&W exclusively, now reaching its occupancy limit with the lease of this 139 sq.m store.
Montijo Retail Park, located at the entrance to the city of Montijo, is a retail space with 18,000 sq.m of gross leasable area, offering medium and large commercial units, ranging from 1,000 sq.m to 9,000 sq.m. It features well-known brands in fashion, sports, decoration, and construction materials segments, including Be Fit, Calçado Guimarães, Sports Direct, Conforama, Espaço Casa, and Leroy Merlin. Located near the A12 and A33 motorways and just a few minutes from the Vasco da Gama Bridge, the retail park benefits from a free parking area with a total of 800 spaces, of which 420 are covered in the basement.
Founded in 2010, A Padaria Portuguesa currently has over 70 stores spread across a total of 9 municipalities in the districts of Lisbon, Porto, and Setúbal. With a very distinct identity, the stores were recently renovated, opting for a decoration that highlights local materials such as Estremoz marble and terracotta crafted by Portuguese artisans.
"It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the placement of a reference brand in the catering area at Montijo Retail Park. This operation marks an important step for the future of this commercial facility, providing this asset with greater variety in its offering with the first space in the catering sector. We are extremely satisfied with this outcome, which confirms the potential of Montijo Retail Park as a reference commercial destination and a top choice for renowned brands," says João Pereira, Senior Consultant in the retail department at Cushman & Wakefield.
