Gonçalo Garcia joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2017. Based in Lisbon, he heads the Hospitality team within Capital Markets Group,providing dedicated sector expertise for investment, operator selection and development advisory.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the hospitality sector, Gonçalo worked in operations, consultancy and strategical advisory. Having worked in hotel operations at different managerial positions for 4 years, he has a broad vision of hotel operational needs. He also worked as a consultant for more than 8 years, developing several markets and feasibility studies, strategic advisory and concept definition for major accounts such as F&C Investments, MPC Capital, IMOCOM Group, among others. As a consultant, Gonçalo was also responsible for developing, implementing and managing hotel operator selection processes for IHG, Hilton, Corinthia Hotels and Banyan Tree hotel brands.
