HHIC – Advisory Services For Shares Management
01 The Challenge
Optimal asset restructuring is extremely important for estate dealings. Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction (HHIC) needed to invest in common shares and required a detailed investment structure to follow.
The client was also in search of professionals to guide them through the process and help minimise acquired costs.
The goal was to provide disposition advice to help HHIC re-sell property, and exercise first right to purchase.02 The Solution
At our advice, HHIC made a few recommendations to potential investors.
This led investors to include within their consideration certain aspects of LOI, such as reinvestment and rate of return on common shares, when bidding on properties.
Additionally, Cushman & Wakefield advised HHIC on the amount they should invest in common shares and the process to follow.
03 The Result
As a result of Cushman & Wakefield’s assistance, HHIC was able to reduce rent and management fees while re-selling their property.
They were also re-granted first right to purchase once again, thereby allowing retrieval of the property.
Another benefit that HHIC enjoyed was a guaranteed ten years lease period.
The client is now able to meet the target sale value and draw a satisfactory lease contract.
