Stockholm, June 22, 2022 - Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has re-hired Karl Persson as Head of Sweden.
Persson, who will rejoin the firm in October/November, previously performed the role between 2018 until 2021, during which time he successfully built a market-leading Swedish capital markets team. He first joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2017 and has more than 20 years investment advisory experience.
Persson will assume leadership responsibility from Marie Cronström, who has performed the role on an interim basis and will continue to do so until his return. She will take a part time role during spring, before retiring next summer.
Colin Wilson, Chief Executive, EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “It is great news for our Swedish colleagues and clients that Karl is returning to the firm. As well as being an experienced senior capital markets advisor and business leader, Karl knows Cushman & Wakefield inside out and will be able to seamlessly reassume responsibilities from Marie when he rejoins the firm.”
Karl Persson, Incoming Head of Sweden, Cushman & Wakefield, added: “I am excited about the prospect of returning to Cushman & Wakefield to lead an outstanding team. It is a fascinating time in real estate and Cushman & Wakefield’s local, regional and global platform is ideally equipped to support clients in Sweden and across the Nordics in navigating through the period of change.”
Cushman & Wakefield offers a full suite of real estate services in Sweden, with its services extended across the Nordic region through exclusive affiliate relationships.
