Cushman & Wakefield India currently maintains several strategic DEI relationships with the following organisations to further our impact:
Latika Foundation: The Latika Foundation is an Indian not-for-profit organisation in Dehradun that provides specialised services to children and adults with disabilities. Cushman & Wakefield India has been associated with Latika for many years, supporting their Karuna Vihar Child Development Center, an innovative activity-based school for children (6 to 14 years), providing holistic development through functional education and therapy.
We have now embarked on an even more ambitious journey together: building India's first fully accessible, universally designed state-of-the-art school for disabled children in Dehradun.
Not only have we contributed our CSR funds, but we have also stepped up to provide pro-bono project management services for the school’s construction. And our employees, sharing the same passion for inclusivity, have enthusiastically joined in, volunteering their time and resources to build a legacy.

Through this partnership, nearly 350 women have been trained over the years, with over 70% securing meaningful employment.
BUILDING AN INCLUSIVE FUTURE, BRICK BY BRICK, WITH LATIKA FOUNDATION
In the heart of Dehradun, India, a groundbreaking project is underway that promises to transform the lives of hundreds of children with disabilities.
Latika Foundation, a 30-year-old non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through inclusive education is building India's first fully accessible, universally designed campus. We, at Cushman & Wakefield have joined them to turn this dream into reality.
The campus, set to open in 2025, will encompass 50,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed space, featuring airy activity rooms, therapy units, sensory integration areas, and even an inclusive playground. It's a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive in an environment that celebrates their abilities and supports their unique needs.
Cushman & Wakefield's commitment goes beyond financial support through CSR funds. Our team of experts is providing pro-bono project management services, ensuring the campus is built to the highest standards of accessibility and functionality.
This collaboration is a befitting example of shared passion and purpose. Latika's steadfast commitment to inclusive education and Cushman & Wakefield's dedication to community impact have converged to create something truly extraordinary. The new campus will not only provide a world-class education for children with disabilities but will also serve as a model for inclusive design and accessibility in India.
As Anshul Jain, Chief Executive, India, SEA and APAC Tenant Representation, Cushman & Wakefield, aptly said, "The school is a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of inclusive education. We are incredibly proud to be a part of this project and grateful to the organisations and individuals who have joined us in our journey."
This is a story of hope, of dreams becoming reality, and of the strong belief in the potential of every child. It's a story that wouldn't be possible without the tireless efforts of the Latika Foundation, the generous support of like-minded partners, our valued clients and our passionate employees.
Together, we are building a brighter future, one brick at a time.
