Hi Logistics Japan: Finding The Right Tenant For A New Warehouse

01 THE CHALLENGE

Hi Logistics operates a warehouse leasing business in the Kanto region. The company wanted to find a tenant for a new warehouse near its headquarters.

Hence, it approached Cushman & Wakefield Japan for consultation and tenant search. Our team also represented Hi Logistics in negotiations with the tenant.

02 THE SOLUTION

Cushman & Wakefield crafted a proposal highlighting the distribution facilities' consolidation and cost-efficiency. We also matched the warehouse's technical specifications with the tenant's requirements.

Since the interested tenant is foreign-affiliated, Cushman & Wakefield headquarter’s Tenant Advisory Group also helped our Japan team in discussions. We explained the intricacies of Japanese distribution to the tenant’s global divisions.

03 THE RESULT

Hi Logistics and the tenant signed a long-term leasing contract for Takasaki Warehouse with an area of 9,917m2.

Currently, the tenant enjoys a consolidated warehouse which houses its previously dispersed facilities.
