Tarkett occupies a new 490 sq.m office space in Lagoas Park
14/03/2023
Tarkett, a world leader in elegant and innovative solutions for flooring and sports surfaces, now occupies part of the 3rd floor of building 7 in Lagoas Park, a building also occupied by the international healthcare company, Sanofi. Inserted in the most prominent business park in Portugal, Tarkett thus joins the 90 resident companies and the 7,000 people who visit and work daily in the Park.
The owner Henderson Park, a pan-European private property management fund, has launched a €25 million equity investment program designed to modernize Lagoas Park and reinforce its sustainability credentials. This investment includes the renovation of lobbies, common areas and external equipment, all of which are being upgraded to enhance the tenant experience and create the best working and social environment for its users.
According to Cristina Cadima, office department consultant at Cushman & Wakefield Portugal, “Lagoas Park continues to be a reference as an office park in Portugal and Tarkett, the world leader in sustainable and innovative solutions for floors and sports surfaces with 140 years of history, was looking for a product in this location with the quality that Lagoas Park offers.”
Ronan Webster, Director of Asset Management at Henderson Park, commented: “Being able to welcome Tarkett into our community of over 90 companies that have chosen Lagoas Park as their home is yet another recognition of the improvements we have made to their facilities and all sustainability credentials. It also shows that companies continue to give great importance to the physical office as a driving force behind the culture and success of their businesses. We hope that Tarkett's team will enjoy the variety of amenities, collaboration areas and green spaces that Lagoas Park has to offer."
For Luciano Teixeira, Tarkett Country Manager in Portugal “Sustainability and the well-being of our employees were the two main pillars in this search for our new workspace. Lagoas Park caught our attention in both areas, and we are certain that we made the best choice.”
