Cushman & Wakefield Appoints Frederico Beirão to Associate

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) announces the promotion of Frederico Beirão to the position of Associate.
Frederico Beirão holds a degree in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics (NOVA SBE) and a master’s degree in Architecture from Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, he also has a Postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management and Valuation from Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão, and has recently become a member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
He has been part of the Valuation and Advisory team since 2019 and conducts property/portfolio valuations for investors, banks, insurers, institutional funds, public and private companies. In recent years, he has specialized in the valuation of various types of properties for bank guarantee purposes, with a particular focus on hotel assets. Before joining C&W, he worked for several companies in the real estate sector, mainly in the areas of valuation, architecture, and consultancy.

The Valuation & Advisory team at C&W Portugal is composed of 13 highly qualified professionals, 4 of whom are members of RICS and 2 more have recently been approved to join this Institution, with 3 appraisers accredited by CMVM (Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários).
Adopts a unique model that combines the best of research analysis and experience in real estate consultancy and, in 2023, totaled more than 15 million square meters of evaluated area, which represents more than €21 billion of assessed value across all asset classes.

Cushman & Wakefield reduces energy dependence of Aveiro Center by 45% with solar panels, and expands electric vehicle charging infrastructure
Cushman & Wakefield, which manages the Aveiro Center shopping mall, announced a notable achievement in its environmental sustainability initiative. Between July 2023 and June 2024, the shopping centre achieved a 45% reduction in energy consumption from the electrical grid, achieved through the implementation of solar panels on the building’s roof.
