Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) was responsible for placing Starbucks in the historic centre of Braga (Largo de São Francisco, nº 13), where it opened its 32nd location in the country on January 21st.
The new café, which occupies an area of 154 sq.m, combines the traditional architecture of the building with the brand's modern design, providing customers with a unique experience in a cosy environment, right in the historic centre of the city.
"We remain committed to finding the best locations for brands. The Northern market continues to show great dynamism in demand, both from international and national brands. The city of Braga has a great tradition of street commerce, and the opening of Starbucks in this historic square in the city centre reinforces the attractiveness and quality of its commercial offering," comments Susana Pires, retail consultant at Cushman & Wakefield.
Founded in 1971, Starbucks is currently present in over 70 countries, having arrived in Portugal in September 2008, where it now has 32 cafés from north to south of the country.
