CHICAGO, August 1, 2018 Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Bill Knightly will serve as the company’s Executive Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasurer, reporting to Chief Financial Officer, Duncan Palmer.
Knightly joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2015 as Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. During his tenure, he also held interim roles as Global Controller and Chief Financial Officer of the Americas.
“Bill is an exceptional leader and trusted business partner who was not only instrumental in creating value during our company’s integration, but he also helped build the global finance function,” said Palmer. “I have every confidence that he will do a great job in his new role representing the firm with the investor community.”
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Knightly spent 13 years at General Electric, where he led Global FP&A and Global Commercial Finance for GE Transportation. He spent six years with the GE Audit Staff gaining global experience in multiple industries throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia. Immediately prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Bill worked for TPG Capital as an Operations Executive, partnering with portfolio company management teams to drive value creation.
Knightly holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hartwick College. He’s also a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program.
