Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) Commits to Building State-of-the-Art Headquarters in Roseland

Jayden Lapin-Tatman • 6/13/2022

Roseland, NJ – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has arranged a long-term lease for the law firm of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law), who has committed to creating its new, state-of-the-art headquarters at 105 Eisenhower Parkway in Roseland. With 175 attorneys and more than $90 million in revenues, CSG Law ranks as the third largest firm in New Jersey.

105 Eisenhower Parkway is a two-building, four-story office complex that spans 220,000 square feet and was built in 2000. CSG Law is signing on to occupy the entire North Building which totals 109,000 square feet on floors one through four.

“One of the most respected law firms in New Jersey, CSG Law is an economic engine, employing 300 people and serving as a corporate anchor in our community,” said Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., Essex County Executive. “The firm has deep roots in Essex County, which it has called home for half a century. I am proud that when they were relocating their offices, they displayed their commitment to Essex County and chose to remain here.”

"The Borough of Roseland is excited to welcome CSG Law back,” said James R. Spango, Mayor of the Borough of Roseland. “There are many other municipalities in the area that CSG Law could have moved to, but we believe the firm chose to put its roots back in Roseland due to our outstanding location, access to major roadways, and small town charm. Attracting and retaining businesses in Roseland directly attributes to our ability to keep property tax increases to a minimum. We congratulate the firm on its 50th anniversary and hope to have them continue as a member of the Roseland business community for at least the next 50 years."

“The custom design and build-out of the firm’s new state-of-the-art headquarters marks an exciting time for CSG Law, which has grown tremendously over the past few years,” stated Jeffrey S. Chiesa, Member of the Executive Committee of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC.

“This is a defining moment for the firm,” continued Francis J. Giantomasi, Member of the Executive Committee of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC. “We are celebrating our 50th anniversary while at the same time designing offices that will enable the next generation of lawyers to meet client needs in the future and continue the firm’s legacy.”

Ownership, in conjunction with CSG Law, will be undertaking a lobby, common area and façade renovation which will include branding on the north side of the building. Additionally, the entry road and landscaping will undergo renovations. Gensler has been retained by both CSG Law and the landlord to manage these improvements.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Robert Donnelly and Raymond Trevisan represented CSG Law in the transaction. David Simpson of Newmark represented the landlord, a New York City-based private partnership.

“CSG Law has seen explosive growth over the past five years and this new lease will give them room to continue their expansion,” added Donnelly, Executive Vice Chair of Cushman & Wakefield.
