Cushman & Wakefield strengthens retail team

Considering the activity recorded in the retail sector, and the estimation that this will be one of the areas with the highest investment in 2023, Cushman & Wakefield reinforces the retail department with a new talent to anticipate and respond to market trends and needs.
The new hire, Maria José Almeida, joins the firm with the category of Associate. She started her career in the retail sector in 2006 and since then she has been involved in hundreds of projects and operations in shopping centres, retail parks and high street retail. Maria José Almeida holds a degree in Communication from the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, and also a Post-Graduation in Finance Management from the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
According to Paulo Sarmento, Head of Transactional Services for the consultancy in Portugal, “The integration of Maria José in the team will allow us to continue to guarantee an excellent service to customers in the retail area, a sector where we have always stood out as a leading player.
