Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global consultancy in real estate services, announces the lease of the new Smartex.AI headquarters in the Zona Empresarial Porto. The consultant advised the operation on behalf of the owner – the Triwool group.
The lease comes a few months after Smartex.AI announced the raising of 24.7 million dollars (25 million euros) in its Series A investment, which will serve to strengthen the team, develop the product and accelerate geographic expansion . The technology company has recorded an impressive growth trajectory since it was the big winner of the Pitch competition at the Web Summit 2021, and in this operation it was represented by the real estate agent Um seis Um.
The new headquarters is a “stand-alone” building, located in the Zona Empresarial do Porto and has an area of 1400m2. With the signature of the architects Nicolau de Sousa Lima and Miguel Reis from the SLRE office, this former warehouse was transformed into a modern, functional office with high quality finishes. Thus, the Zona Empresarial do Porto gains another highly renowned tenant and consolidates itself as a very attractive destination for companies from all sectors that want to settle in the north of the country.

Phase II of the development is already in pipeline for 24/25, which until then will be available for rent as a warehouse.”
