Isabel Marant lands in Portugal with the support of Cushman & Wakefield
21/09/2023
French brand Isabel Marant makes its debut in Portugal with the opening of a store on Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon. The leasing operation of the new 196 m² space was carried out by the retail department of Cushman & Wakefield, the consultant mandated to market the space.
The store is located in one of the main arteries of the city of Lisbon, Avenida da Liberdade, next to the Tivoli Hotel. This location has attracted more and more international luxury brands that choose the avenue to place their stores in Portugal. Cushman & Wakefield has followed this trend, having already placed dozens luxury brands on the avenue in recent years. With this operation, the consultant consolidates its leadership position in this segment.
The luxury brand, Isabel Marant, originated in France in 1989 and has several stores around the world, from the United States to Amsterdam. This opening represents the arrival of the designer's pieces to one more country and offers Avenida da Liberdade’s visitors the opportunity to discover pieces with a bohemian style and designed for the real woman.
According to Maria José Almeida, Retail Associate at Cushman & Wakefield: “The opening of Isabel Marant is the confirmation that Lisbon is on the radar of luxury brands. In recent years, we have seen the growing desire of brands to come to Portugal and, above all, to settle on Avenida da Liberdade, which is the place of choice for international luxury brands.
