Cushman & Wakefield was chosen by Intelcia to carry out the transformation work on their new facilities at the Espace building, in Parque das Nações, Lisbon. The project concluded with the delivery of a modern and efficient office within a record-breaking timeframe.
Intelcia is one of the leading companies in the contact centre sector and has been present in Portugal since 2018, with approximately 7,000 employees spread across 13 offices nationwide. Recently, it announced an expansion of its services and now offers BPO (Business Process Operations), as well as working on areas such as Permanent Placement and RPO (recruitment process outsourcing), particularly focused on HR functions, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Banking and Customer Experience.
Cushman & Wakefield provided Design & Build services for an area of 3,000 sq.m. The construction involved a general architectural intervention, telecommunications network and electrical components. A new area entirely dedicated to administration was built with various offices and meeting rooms including a fully equipped video conferencing room. Various collaboration and relaxation spaces were also designed to create more informal and welcoming environments within the office.
According to Bruno Martins dos Reis from Project & Development Services team “The main challenge of this project was to execute considerable-sized construction work within a short period without compromising on the stipulated start date for operations”, he also added that “various additional works were executed and incorporated within this timeframe respecting multiple needs and requirements from our client”.
The Project & Development Services department boasts a multidisciplinary team of 15 members with over 20 years’ experience in Portuguese market having been responsible for projects for clients such as Cofidis, Bayer BMW Sky Alcon AM Alpha Arvato Huawei Saint Julians among many others.
